zoológico.!

Sooo in DR they celebrate Dias de las madres the last Sunday of May... Julio, Julianna, and I started the day off with breakfast at Dune Deck Cafe(my favvv.) and decided to go to the zoo after, we didn't really think J would appreciate it just wanted to do something alittle different and outside.? We had a great time...even J...she really liked it.!!!

family times

Jose(Julio's cousin), his wife, and kids stopped by for the weekend... all the way from N.Carolina.!!! It was nice, we don't get to see much of them, and as you can see Julianna looks a lot like their daughter :-) soooo cuteeeee.!!!




Last weekend we went to the west coast...almost all the Lathams were there... it was really nice, maybe next time it will be on better circumstances :-) Julianna was definitely the much needed silence breaker LoL misssss everyone already.!!!

YuMMMM.! Sweet Potatoes and Apples

Maria and I made Julianna baby food on Sat. ((Sweet Potatoes, Malanga, Apples, Pears, and Bananas.!)) I introduced her to them that afternoon... Hilarious.! She lovvveddd it.!!! It is so exciting I laugh every time I give it to her...I still can't believe she is getting sooooBIG.!!!


I'll have to take video when I have a chance...soo u can really capture the experience LoL.!

I realllyyyy hope swimming before walking runs in the family.! I am dying to teach Julianna how to swim.!!! She LOVES the bath (not to jinx myself) but no matter what kind of mood she is in, when I stick her in that water she's alllll smiles :-) We practice in the tub and she already kicks but I am waiting for the weather to get a little warmer to try out the reall stuff either the pool or the beach.... Can't Wait.!!! It has been our bedtime ritual since she could even take baths to do it every night before bed. It works out good because no matter what I or "we" are doing I am able to give her a bath which is the ultimate bonding time for US.!

OMG.! look how longggg her hair is... LOVE IT.! Speaking of hair...Kimmy got Julianna the cutest little keepsake, it's a little worm to put her 'first curl' in... I will post a pic. as soon as I charge my camera LoL.!

4 months in a nutshell :-)

SOOOOO... i'm doing this blog to keep friends and family up to date with my life (((more like Julianna's life))) and since i have started it a little late there is already lots to tell.! Life as a mami is super exciting...something new happens everyday...with that being said it's also very time consuming...there r just NOT enough hrs in the day :-( especially now that i am working and going to school full time every extra second is spent with her and julio. I dont mean to neglect the other important people in my life soooo hopefully this is way for me to share my experiences and joys WITH them.!

SHe is DEF. the most amazing everrrr.!!!

She was born on 09/29/08 at 1129am at a very hefty 7lbs 9oz :-) the labor was fast(((Thank gosh))) but still very painful LoL

My abuela was here for her birth, that was really nice, don't know how i woulda been w.out her

Time is going by sooooo fast she went from being this tiny little being into a real person with sucha character.

Claro...of coarseeee she is a "Papi's Girl" i dont know who is more obssessed her or him.? he impresses me more and more.! he is an amazing father and i cant wait to see what the future holds...

The Holidays came and gone (((can't wait for next year... im already starting to save LoL)))

Thanksgiving was fun she met lots of familia (((abuelito, great grandpa, primos, aunts, and uncles)))

Christmas was exciting... i know she is little but she really enjoyed the lights and wrapping paper.!

New Years was fun... we did something different and had friends over... that was nice for a change... Julianna was in bed before 11... tryed to keep her up lol but she was pooped. Kinda wished we were in DR like last year...his parents are dyinggg to see her.! Miss them lotsssss, hopefully in the summer we will make it there...WE HAVE TOOOO.!

The cold weather was nice... i love to dress her up(((hats, boots w.the fur, and coats))) as you will see :-)

Soooo that's pretty much 4 months in a nutshell...i mean there are sooo many other things...first bath, jaundice, shots, ear piercing, smiles, rolling over, the lists goes onnnn but this is just for starters... I really want to keep this up and have fun with it....
